諸眾之貌：滋事 — Heterotopias

「諸眾之貌：滋事」是 2017 年於台北立方計劃空間舉辦的聯展，由黃孫權策展、曾傑協同策展，是「諸眾之貌」亞洲社會運動研究計畫與 2016 年立方學實學校（Praxis School）一年講堂兩條工作線的合併發表。展覽分為兩大區塊：一是「諸眾之貌─亞洲運動影像資料庫」平台上累積的多部紀錄片與檔案；二是六位 2016 年講堂學員在一年共學中發想並執行的創作計畫。

「滋事」二字取主動參與、擾動事件之意。延續「諸眾」的問題意識：人民、群眾、大眾這些詞太靜態，過於常從上而下被加諸；展覽把一年講堂變成種子的土壤，背景殊異的學員們在一年中自我組織、聚合與離散，最終以個人或小組形式長出影像、舞蹈、行為、攝影與行動式藝廊等多元的「種子」作品。開幕當天並有張靜如與五位舞者的《失敗商談》、鄭明慧以鐵牛車改裝為行動藝廊的《梗好藝術—藝攤車計畫》等同步活動，將展場延伸至大稻埕、寶藏巖等街角空間。

"Till We Have Faces—Creating Disturbances" was a 2017 group exhibition at TheCube Project Space, Taipei, chief-curated by Huang Sun-Quan with Jesse Tseng as co-curator. The exhibition merged two strands of work: the ongoing "Till We Have Faces" research project on Asian social movements and the 2016 year-long lecture series at TheCube’s Praxis School. Two sections structure the show: video documentaries and archive materials accumulated on the multitude.asia platform, alongside new creative projects developed by six artists who participated in the 2016 Praxis School cohort.

The word "滋事" (zishi) means "to make trouble," in the sense of active participation that stirs events. Extending the project’s core question, that words like "the people," "the masses," "the public" are too static and too often imposed from above, the exhibition treated the lecture series as soil for seeds. Across one year, participants of varied backgrounds self-organised, converged, and dispersed, eventually growing, individually or in small groups, into "seed" works in video, dance, performance, photography, and mobile-gallery formats. Opening-week programs—Chang Ching-Ju’s Negotiating Failure with five dancers, and Cheng Ming-Huei’s Geng-Hao Art Cart Project (a converted iron-bull cart roaming Taipei’s Dadaocheng and Treasure Hill neighbourhoods)—extended the show beyond the gallery walls.
